Life lessons are rarely presented during the easy carefree times of life. They arrive out of the ashes of hard-fought experience.
COVID-19 has provided so many lessons, if we open our eyes. While many are fretting over the economy and perhaps rightly so, we can stop and acknowledge some very important facts that have become apparent:
Health professionals are worth more than professional athletes or entertainers.
Oil has no value unless there is a thriving economy to consume it.
People can work from home effectively, if not more comfortably.
We can survive without junk food, bars and movie theaters.
The planet, given the opportunity, can regenerate itself in many wonderful ways.
Those who struggle the most economically are an intrinsic part of our survival and comfort.
Teachers have it tough.
Simple things we take for granted, like our health and wellbeing are fragile.
