I’ve been thinking about what I want more of and what I want less of as I move into Chapter X:
So I started a list…
More:
Creative writing—I started a novel that I just can’t seem to finish.
Music—regular practice hours on my trumpet AND guitar (I greedily want both).
Nature—I want more time roaming in parks and forests since it makes me happy.
Volunteering—once COVID is behind us, it’s high on my list.
Exercising—while I am pretty active, I can do better.
Simplicity—this is a tough one for me…but I’m thinking about it.
Time spent with those I love and care about.
Less:
Watching/reading the news—it’s a waste of time and negatively impacts my spirit.
Time devoted to fretting over what I haven’t accomplished.
Time spent with people who suck.
