We all resist certain things that we know are good for us, right? Or is it just me? I hate to admit it, but I am hitting several resistance walls lately and I don’t actually know why.
I used to have a decent meditation practice…now, it’s non-existent.
I used to exercise five to six days a week…now (other than walks) it’s one to two. I could use COVID as an excuse, but my rower is not getting the use it did last winter.
Perhaps, it’s winter doldrums? Or maybe I am coming to a new stage in life which is creating a level of resistance in my brain and body? I’m trying to figure it out and understand what it will take to break through to return to what I want to do.
Have you experienced resistance to things you know you want to do? If so, how did you break through? I’d love to share your experiences with the group.
