This time of year, the word ‘gratitude’ slides off the tongue with great ease. While I am ever grateful to so many, I decided to devote a period of meditation to the word and observe what came up (if anything).
While it is difficult to translate the experience, I will try to relate it here. It began with a feeling of warmth in my lower belly and eventually rose to my heart-center, filling me with over-whelming joy. I thought about my family, my friends, my work-family and my Chapter X family.
I am not ashamed to say that tears flowed freely, as I focused on these relationships and how deeply grateful I am for the connections I’ve made and those who touch my life.
To my Chapter X family-Thank you for your notes and comments, your encouragement, your involvement in our Zoom calls, for listening to the podcast and for spreading the word about our community. You make my mission joyful and meaningful.
From my wife, Wendy and myself, we wish you all a meaningful Thanksgiving. May gratitude touch your souls and spirits and may you bathe in the love and light for the gifts of life.
