When we begin our careers, we have very little in the way of “tools” in most cases.
We don’t even know what we don’t know. As we learn, grow, fail, succeed and experience, our toolkit grows and we gain mastery.
Why would it be any different in this next chapter?
That being said, retirement should come with a ladder…so we can climb down off our own backs.
Gaining mastery takes time, patience and the willingness to try new things, fail and try something else…so ease up off the gas a little, you’re new at this.
