After the Passover holiday recently passed, it made me think about the time in Seder (the telling of the story of Exodus) when the youngest member asks Four Questions of the Seder leader. The questions delve into the difference between the Passover week and the rest of the year.
With that in mind, I’d like to pose my own Four Questions of the Chapter X community with the hope that you will share your answers with me.
If you have been retired for more than six months:
- What do you wish you’d known about the transition before you retired?
- What has surprised you or concerned you?
- If you could roll the clock back to pre-retirement, what would you have done differently?
- How satisfied are you with your progress toward a fulfilling Chapter? (Please explain)
If you’re not yet retired:
- Do you feel ready for retirement? Why or why not?
- What do you most look forward to after work ends?
- What do you least look forward to after work ends?
- What level of fear or concern do you have for retirement? (Please elaborate)
I’d love to hear your responses as soon as possible. Any other insights or perhaps even answers to questions that I didn’t ask would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to reading your responses.
