Lessons from Muscle Building

During my life, I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of trainers. And now, through podcast interviews, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with many trainers and other experts in the realm of exercise and health.

There is one common theme, and that is: if you’re not actively building muscle, you’re losing it. (Hey, don’t yell at me, it’s not my fault!) It boils down to the idea that if it isn’t progressive, it’s regressive.

I can see where this idea resonates in other areas of life. As our bodies age, we’re either actively working to sharpen our senses or facing the likely outcome of diminishment. This principle extends to areas of learning, relationships, and health.
