I don’t know about you, but my life as a business-owner was filled with uncertainty, constant vigilance, and a sense that I always needed to prove myself. I lived with the same stress and tension that many business owners experience.
Since retirement, I’m learning to ease my foot off the gas pedal and treat myself with more kindness. The self-criticism and judgment are gradually fading away: I’m discovering a more peaceful me. I like it.
