As I entered my 7th decade, I spent a good part of the day in disbelief.
What the heck happened?
How did I get this old?
Where did the time go?
When am I going to actually grow up?
I had no answers to the first three, but the last was obvious…never.
We have no guarantees as to when our time here will end. For those who live in misery, the answer is, in many cases, “not soon enough.” For those who are engaged, active, and interested, the answer is “too soon.”
It has always been and will forever be about one’s mindset, courage, and ability to break through challenges.
