A Good Laugh

By August 31, 2024 No Comments

I’ve been dealing with tendinitis in my shoulder and bicep, and it’s not making me happy! While I am undergoing physical therapy, it is impacting my upper body training, which is definitely not making me happy.

The other day, I drove past a golf course and driving range and watched many golfers hunched over, swinging away at the white ball. As you know, I am not a golfer—mostly out of kindness to other golfers, the turf, and my own emotional well-being.

That being said, a fleeting thought passed through my head. I thanked God I wasn’t a golfer because, with my shoulder issue, I wouldn’t be able to swing the club and would be sad that I couldn’t play.

The absurdity of it all gave me a good laugh. I don’t know about you, but my mind works in mysterious, if not frighteningly weird, ways.
