If COVID-19 has shown us anything, it is our lack of planning and lack of attention on what matters.
It seems that the most susceptible to getting really sick and dying are those over 60 with underlying health problems. We know that cancer, emphysema, asthma and other respiratory illnesses—along with any auto-immune compromised individuals—are at a huge risk of getting stricken.
We have, as a society, been so focused on making more money, accumulating more toys, that we have forgotten the price. Our air is polluted, the food we eat is laced with sugar, harmful additives, hormones, preservatives and chemicals. We are less active and therefore don’t clean out the junk in our systems.
Maybe this pandemic is an opportunity to make changes in how we live, what we eat and what we value?
There are some great resources out there to help learn about changing your lifestyle, the foods you eat and how to improve your health. We all (I hope) want to live long enough to enjoy our children and grandchildren or at least see our society flourish if you don’t have kids in your life. We want to live the remaining years we have as healthfully, vitally and easily as possible.
Look at your current lifestyle and ask yourself if there are any areas that might benefit from a little “clean up”.
We only have one shot at this…the time is now!
