I’ve traveled a bit, although some of my friends have seen much more of the world than I have. This is my first river cruise, and it’s quite different from the cruises I’ve been on in the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Mediterranean.
Instead of the stomach-churning boat-tossing waves, it feels more like being on a motorized walkway you see at airports. To be honest, I was surprised to wake up this morning and realize that the ship was moving.
There are differences in everything and our perspectives, expectations, beliefs, and understandings need to shift with each experience. The same holds true for most things in life. Approaching each opportunity and experience with an open mind and open heart allows growth and wisdom to flourish.
