A+I+A is a simple formula. I like simple. In it lies a powerful means to move from inertia to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Attention is the awareness, alertness, sensitivity to your needs and desires.
Intention is the mindful decision to act.
Action is the necessary step in taking thought to move actively and meaningfully forward.
These concepts have been foremost in my thoughts as I recover from illness and the resulting doldrums that followed.
I’m aware of the need to reignite my passions. (Attention)
I’m firm on the steps needed. (Intention)
If I don’t actually take the next step, it’s wasted thought. (Action)
While this formula doesn’t guarantee success, without it, you can basically guarantee that you won’t meet your desired goals.
I’ve mapped out some ideas and have begun the action steps. The challenge is to maintain the three steps in my thoughts and push myself to move forward.
