As someone who’s been a yoga practitioner for almost 40 years, I truly appreciate the gifts of movement, calm and rejuvenation that I get from my practice. Today I’m thrilled to speak with Yogi Aaron, who is known for challenging traditional perspectives on yoga, particularly when it comes to stretching and flexibility. 

He’s the creator of the revolutionary approach to yoga called Applied Yoga Anatomy + Muscle Activation™ (AYAMA), which aims to help people live a pain-free life by realizing yoga’s true intentions.

His latest work, Stop Stretching! A New Yogic Approach To Master Your Body + Live Pain-Free, is a book for anyone who wants to restore balance to their body through yoga. Along with his wife, he’s the co-owner of Blue Osa Yoga Retreat & Spa in Costa Rica, where he leads Yoga Teacher Training Immersions year-round.
