It’s fair to say that in my younger days, I was a pretty “spirited” driver. I think it’s a genetic trait from my mother, who took it personally if anyone was driving in front of her. Now, not so much; I am more patient and tend to be gentle with the accelerator.
Although, truth be told (especially on the highway), trucks or RVs in the left lane make me crazy!
Chapter X is like driving in that there are times to hit the pedal and times to put it on cruise control in the middle or right lanes. Living full throttle in the “left lane” can be exhausting, and conserving energy, at least for me, is important.
How about you? How do you manage or adjust your energy levels?
