While we are making our way through the morass of news, fear and toilet paper scarcity, we can take a minute to acknowledge where we are and where we’ve been.
While I am not a big TV watcher, this pause from life has provided me with time to investigate offerings on the “tube-less” tube.
Growing up, if you remember, there were only 7 channels on TV and not a remote control in sight. My father introduced me to movies with Errol Flynn, Stuart Granger and Burt Lancaster. Swashbuckling adventures like Captain Blood, The Crimson Pirate, Scaramouche, Robin Hood and The Flame and The Arrow brought hours of enjoyment back in the day.
So far, I’ve watched a few and whether black and white or technicolor, the time in front of the screen brings back memories of simpler times.
And can’t we all use some of that?
What are you watching and how are you spending your time?
I look forward to hearing from you—we need each other now more than ever!
