Everyone has a line that is the effective border of their comfort zone. The very idea might be enough to make you run in panic; or you might nudge the line and test your willingness to dip your proverbial toe in the water of something new.
I hear too many people who reject exploration in favor of something safe and familiar. I spoke with someone recently who had just bought a new CD. I said, “You actually still buy CD’s? What about streaming music?” The response was precious: “I still have a CD player.”
While I suppose there is logic to that, technology opens up a vaster universe of possibilities that make the purchase of compact discs kind of silly.
I purchased something for a friend who he told me he would mail me a check. I asked him to Venmo me the funds. He looked at me like I just asked him to eat a dead rat.
In Chapter X, you will be tested and prompted to investigate new ideas, new opportunities, new technologies that push you out of your comfort zone.
But don’t worry, you won’t die from it and you might open up a whole new universe of possibilities.
Enjoy the journey.
Cheers,
Michael
