Those who know me know I am an unapologetic Foo Fighters fan. I have seen them in concert six or seven times, including a road trip with my son to North Carolina. Music was a strong part of my upbringing; both of my parents were professional musicians and I was a pretty competent trumpet player.
I love almost every genre of music and listen constantly.
But I have a special place for the Foos. From the imagination and vision of Dave Grohl to a band that has lasted 25 years in this arena is unbelievable. They inspire me. And to let you in on a secret, I wrote both of my books while listening to them.
Inspiration matters. Find what (or who) inspires you and draw energy from that source. It’s a great way of getting you pumped up for action.
