Change happens, usually when you’re not looking, kind of like a car accident.
Once you’ve shaken off the after-effects from the shock, your next move is a decision to do something.
Regardless of the event, your decision is where to go from this moment forward and it begins with an internal ringing of a bell that says you are prepared to act.
This is what exercises your resilience muscle. It is internal and projects outward to action (the external).
In Chapter X, and indeed in life, recognize that whatever happens, you can propel yourself forward, from the inside out.
It might take some time to consider the best course of action and when to pull the ripcord—but the combination of information, experience and will can help you act in your best interest.
Stay safe!
