I used to be…

With warm weather finally gracing us here in NJ, I have turned my full attention to my garden projects. I have been experimenting with sprouts over the last month and have met with some success.

It’s not hard…seeds, sprouting tray, water…duh! I love how within a day or two, I see action happening on the tray and within five days, I have sprouts to add to salads.

Then there are the veggies for the garden. Once I stick the seeds in the ground, it’s all about waiting to see what grows (if anything). The garden is showing some signs of life and the seeds that I’ve sown indoors are also beginning to show some progress. But it takes time!

I would like the immediate gratification of the sprouts to happen in my garden. But alas, all the wanting just ain’t gonna make it grow any faster.

It’s a great example of our challenges. We conjure up ideas—some sprout, some don’t and some just take time to germinate and grow.

Any examples in your own experience? Share some, if you please.

Cheers,

Michael
