I awoke from the twilight sleep provided by the anesthesiologist. The nurse asked if I wanted some juice or water and let me know that the doctor would be in to go over the results.
Blinking, I asked for some water and wondered whether the news I’d be receiving would be bad or good.
The curtain slid open and the doctor walked in…
We all have moments of truth.
They are meant to test our mettle and our ability to cope with reality.
Those times teach us who we are.
The longer we live, the more opportunities there are to learn, grow and share our wisdom.
