During times of transition, it’s easy to feel lost and untethered. Even if you’ve spent time and energy thinking about activities or projects to explore, a sense of direction can still be missing because everything is new.
Like a mouse in a maze, you might find yourself walking down paths that lead to dead ends, over and over, until eventually you discover your “cheese.” But until that reward appears, it can all feel like aimless meandering.
Still, there’s an important lesson to take from the mouse in the maze: it never stops searching for the prize.
