Pandemic planning

By September 17, 2020 No Comments

Here we are in some unknown lap of this global pandemic. We don’t know when or if a useable vaccine will be discovered. We don’t know when the economy will open fully and what that will look like. But we have been in this situation for a while and can take the occasion to look back and assess.

What would I have done differently, if I had known I was going to be locked up and socially distanced for this time?

Hmmmmmm…let’s see.

I would have ordered seeds for the garden earlier (a lot of stock is sold out).

I would have ordered a set of Bowflex dumbbells (the ones I bought are a pain in the ass and take too much time to set up).

I might have stocked up on a few grocery items so as not to stress over trying to get deliveries.

I definitely would have ordered face masks (we already had a box of gloves).

I would have worked harder to convince my wife to get a dog.

Other than that, I don’t know if I could have planned any better.

What about you—what would you have done differently or better?

Cheers,

Michael
