Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Realistic
Time-based
You might have devoted your entire working life adhering to these principles. But in Chapter X, your exploration doesn’t have to be either specific or measurable, at least not by anyone else’s standard.
In fact, it doesn’t necessarily have to be attainable or realistic. Time? Well, that’s an unknown quantity for us all.
Instead of using SMART goals, adjust your thinking to a goal of living a life of fulfillment. Start there.
