For those of you who don’t live where the change of seasons is distinct, you’re missing something wonderful and miraculous.
While we have not yet seen the show of fall colors, the indications of its approach are clear. Acorns are beginning to fall and leaves are losing their vibrant greens; the reds, yellows and oranges are next.
The show is a gift for our senses: the beautiful colors dazzle our eyes, the sound of leaves crunching beneath our feet, the feel of crisp air on our skin, the smell of nature and the taste of newly picked apples are there for us to appreciate.
It makes me think of our ‘autumns’ in Chapter X. Our season should also be filled with vibrancy and dazzling colors. Nature has gifted us with reaching this stage, and now it’s our turn to use the gifts to bring joy and meaning to ourselves and others.
We know our ‘winter’ is approaching when our abilities and facilities wane. There is no time to lose in living our best lives with gratitude, energy and vitality.
What makes your ‘autumn’ brilliant?
