I remember as a kid, my mother telling me I couldn’t go swimming until I waited 30 minutes after I ate lunch because I’d get a cramp.
Well, turns out, that’s nonsense.
Fortune cookies are Chinese in origin…uhhh…no!
Cracking your knuckles gives you arthritis…nope.
Masturbation will make you blind…so far so good! LOL
We are told a lot of things that we believe, especially when we were kids. So many tales, stories, beliefs and tropes that become guideposts of our belief-system. How many things did we tell our own children that have proven to be less than accurate?
Hmmmm…probably too many.
In Chapter X, we have the opportunity—if not the obligation—to rethink, recheck, reimagine and reset our thinking and beliefs.
We live in a new world…relying on old thinking without considering other possibilities is just living in denial.
Continue learning and growing.
Cheers,
Michael
