Have you ever seen the awesome display of dominoes set up in intricate patterns, designs and levels? It’s cool! And just think, it was the nudge of a finger against a tiny tile that set off the amazing scene of tumbling dominoes into a fascinating show.
Looking back, can you picture an event that set you on a new path—that sent your dominoes flying to create new designs in your life, new opportunities and new challenges? Can you see the one action, decision, idea or meeting that changed your trajectory?
I remember one distinctly: meeting a friend of my father, who advised me to pursue a career in accounting. That one meeting set me on a path that prior to that meeting, I could never imagine.
We see in the news today how one event can create a cascade of change.
In order to learn, grow and become more, it is important to identify events that have created change and understand how that pivot point created new realities.
