Welcoming change

By September 17, 2020 No Comments

Unless we are in pain, we rarely ASK for change.

It arrives like an insistent uninvited hungry guest when there’s barely enough food for one. But there it is…

We have several choices: welcome it with open arms, allow it in begrudgingly or fight to keep it out.

The third option is the most stressful and has the least chance of success.

The second option is better, but is almost guaranteed to bring consternation, guilt, shame and unforeseen levels of stress.

The first, while not necessarily easy, is your best option. Welcoming and embracing change, whether asked for or not, can open your eyes and mind to new experiences and possibilities. Who knows—you might become lifelong friends.

Cheers,

Michael
